Registering and using your Debit card is the same as using a Credit card. The debit card must be associated with either Visa or MasterCard.

It is a serious offence to provide false or inaccurate information during your registration. At the very least, you may be prevented from accessing the services within the ECash Direct system for your current and future accounts.

The following information MUST match:

• The mailing address you provided upon your account registration must match your credit card statement's billing address; and,
• Your full name must match the name on the credit card. Do not use initials or nicknames in any account.

All users are required to become registered users of the ECash Direct software.

Accessing the Register/Change Credit Card window

You must register your credit card with ECash Direct in order to deposit funds by credit card. You can do this by either:

1. From the ECash Direct main menu by clicking on the Register/Change Credit Card button; or,
2. From the Credit Card Deposit screen by clicking on the Change/Register Card button.

Registering your Credit Card

Now that you are at the Register/Change Credit Card window, you need to key-in two pieces of information to register your credit card:

1. Credit Card Number; and,
2. Expiry Date (month, year)

To allow us to serve you better there is an option to enter your credit card's customer service number and the name of the associated bank. You are not required to enter this information.

Processing Rules

Credit card registration generally takes one minute to complete. Please note, during this registration process, a transaction in the amount of US$5-20 is authorized to your credit card. This US$5-20 transaction is automatically credited back to your credit card. Some banks may show this charge while others do not. Depending on your bank the funds should be available back to your card within 2-5 business days.

Security Information

At ECash Direct we continue to provide the highest level of security for our customers when depositing money on-line.

A new initiative has been put into place by MasterCard and Visa to further protect on-line transactions called MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa.

These both work in a similar way and protect the card holder with a secret code/password against unauthorized use of your card when you deposit money online.
